Does anyone have experience with the brand Amore? I really am in need of a new flat iron and I don't feel like shelling out a ton of money. On Groupon they have the Amore Crystal Flat Iron that is originally $200 and it's on there for $30. Considering this is an awesome deal, I am wondering if anyone has used this before? He said the upkeep would be way, way too much and could either turn good or hideously bad. What is the best hair straightener for short, thick, lightly wavy hair? Mine isn't doing the job anymore, it's just too big to get the short strands. Any price or brand. Would love something better for my hair too. :) TIA!

So, the hairstylist I usually see told me my hair feels like the hair on the heads at styling school...you know the fake heads. I kind of feel like I should be insulted. so I've about had it with "high quality" straighteners. I've had over 6 in the past few years (chi, sedu, you name it), I treat them all well and they ALL JUST STOP WORKING. usually right after the warranty is up or I have lost the receipt, got it as a gift and have no idea where to return it to, etc ( Read more... )
